Dear all,

In case our Firefox plugin can not be enabled in your browser, please try the following steps:
- Relaunch FDM client (to close FDM press Alt+X or Exit in the File menu or in the system tray) relaunch Firefox to check whether something has been changed;
- You should describe as detailed as possible all the actions you had done before to face this problem;
What FDM version did you use earlier? How did you update FDM and Firefox? Have you also done any other actions besides the simple program installation/uninstallation?

Based on the information related to the plugin compatibility with Firefox 29 provided on this forum by our s, we are not able to reproduce the problem on our side. Many thanks for the interest to Free Manager.

Please place your answers here: FDM Firefox add-on disabled, so FDM is NOT working with FF 29.

So how soon will the bug about compartibility with firefox 30+ be fixed? You know that mozilla releases a new version of firefox every 6 weeks now, so if you don't speed up, more s may turn to use other tools. PS: FDM is really a good software, althouth with some tolerable bugs.

I'm glad to do so, but I'm not sure whether the extension in alpha version of FDM is the same as release version. And I'm just a who know little about programming. However, I want to give you developers a suggestion: Maybe you can make the development of extensions independent from main program, so you don't need to upgrade your main program again and again and you just need to change the code related to browsers in extensions

i have solved to problem for me:

Copy the content manual from

C:\Program Files\Free Manager\Firefox\extension

to

C:\ProgramData\Free Manager\Firefox\Extensions\1.6.0.1

After restart Firefox the plugin works !

This is because FDM doesn't delete the old extension directory belongs to 3.9.3 in C:\ProgramData\Free Manager\Firefox\Extensions if you don't uninstall the old version and reinstall a new one. You can do like this: copy ALL the files in FDM install path\Firefox\extension to C:\ProgramData\Free Manager\Firefox\Extensions\1.6.0.x (x is changable) to replace the old files, then the extension will work under firefox 29. PLEASE DON'T USE IT NOW IF YOU USE FIREFOX 30+ VERSION!

using chrome, i encounter the following problem

when i simply go to this site, i get some kind of infinite loop, and FDM shows its window repeatedly even if cancelled :

about the firefox 29 problem, i located the programdata folder
i had both 1.6.0 and 1.6.0.1 directories, and manually deleted the 1.6.0
i still have the message in the firefox extensions window manager "free manager plugin is not compatible with firefox 29. plugin deactivated"
