No more automatic ing?? 6i3553

genestoy » Thu Mar 19, 2009 2:26 am

Hi,
I have used FDM for some time now with no problems whatsoever. I have four files that I have certain times scheduled for. FDM has always ed these files flawlessly at the specified times - until recently. FDM will not automatically the files anymore yet it says it has at the correct times but they don't appear in the folder. The paths are correct and I can click on "Restart " and it works just fine, just won't with the scheduler by itself? Any idea what is wrong? There are no FDM scheduled tasks present in Windows control under "Scheduled Tasks"?
Thanks for any advice on this, as it has me stumped!

Thought I would post a followup. I also emailed and was told to "check your host as FDM works just fine"???? What SHOULD have asked me was the "Restart completed s" box checked in the scheduler properties. Apparently FDM won't the same file again even if it is renaming the file unless that box is checked. That fixed the problem.

Quoting:
"Open main window - select Scheduler tab - right click on task - open Task Properties - check Restart Completed s"

I followed what Paul said and the result is good.
Gene, have you tried what Paul said for setting your FDM?
