Portable mode should be available on any device, not just removable ones.

There's no need to use the registry just because MS said to, especially for small apps that only have their config data stored there. The same goes for the directories, especially when using a working directory would suffice just as well for multiple s.

If you already have the code in place for this to be done, why not just convert over to "green" use completely, and make yours and everyone elses lives that much easier. Keep the directory capability as an option if you want.

If I try to change the maximum rate for bittorrent files in Light Mode, e. g. 5 KB/s, the changes aren't saved. If I choose another window and go back, there is the default value again. Seems to be a bug, doesn't it?

it would be nice if fdm included tool to fetching video (eg. popular format flv like google video or youtube) on the next beta version fdm!!! (like orbit do!)

having difficult to finish 99% of files compare to orbit (no problems at all) i use this links (http://us.bitcomet.com/beta/BitCometBet ... _setup.exe) although this two software having a metalinks ! maybe bugs or design issues or unimplemented features!!!

I think I see an error in the help file...

FDM behaviour differs upon integration with different browsers.
1.In Netscape and Opera browsers FDM will catch clicks on all archive, exe, audio and video files. You can't specify the file extensions to ; you can't use the ALT key too.

There's a bug with FDM Beta and the site manager. The program keeps "altering" the valid for: settings for the sites i put, on every start up.

After I send a file over to FDM, I want it to just start ing right away using the default settings. I don't want to click OK each time I send something to it. How can this be done? Does this BETA in anyway change this?

Tabs in " options" after translating not fit in the window - better to make them in several lines as in "General settings".

Silent monitoring, in Monitoring tab of options.

Silent Monitoring doesn't work properly for me. I have my desktop set as the default directory. When using silent mode, it s my app data folder, one directory above the desktop as a file named desktop(1) everytime.

Maybe this is because I use Firefox and Flashgot.
