Hello, FDM is a great program but some features are missing :

- FTP over SSL
- In queue, ability to show several files under a single line with a "group" feature like in usenet grabbers.

When ing (using GetRight) I like to be able to select a folder on the first then just hit Enter for each subsequent . Then when I change the folder on say the 30th it re that as the new default folder... and so on. I find the groups method more time consuming. Especially if the folders you to aren't used often enough to make creating a new group for it. All it need is a check box next to the folder name called ' Last Folder Used'.

need to be able to import a list of urls and be able to define the name of the . this can be done using the software create batch but i can't seem to import and rename like i can when i create a batch .

Is it possible to check if the rapidshare link realy exist before ing it? As it is right now it will the rapidshare link even if it is broken (it will a 10 or something kb file).

Semi-transparents active s box and drop box are very nice.
It would make sense thought for the active s box replaces the drop box when there are active s.
Currently when the active box appears (ex. starting new ), the drop box remains... that is redundant as at this point the can drag and drop a link to either boxes with the same result.

I would like to see the active s box replace the drop box during ing... and the drop box automatically reappearing when the s are done and the active s box disappears.

Feature Suggestion:

I would like to be able to link container files with FDM.
As you know especially for rapidshare it is a common problem to get the files removed from servers, to prevent that people use link container files as *.ccf or *.dlc via for exemple linksave.in or crypt-it.com. To these links we need to use special software like cryptload or jer.

As a fan of FDM I'd like to them with my favorite manager. What do you think???

Mediafire please, FDM doesn't resuming from mediafire, neither ing from multiple mediafire servers. while another manager does.

i'd like to see this in the release please.!

Usenet binary/NZB would be a nice feature. I've already scrapped uTorrent since you added torrent . Would be cool if I could scrap alt.binz too and do everything with one app. It would be really useful for me because then I could use the "shutdown when done" scheduler for my usenet s, which is missing from most binary readers.

1) Entries in mirror list should be editable (especially if added by hand), or at least CopyPastable
2) Looks like it is capable of using only one site for one file. Why not different segments from different sites (if file has mirrors), might help if speed is limited by server side.

1. In "Active s" window add column showing how much time left to complete the (you don't have to click each time and open main window to see estimated time).

2. Dynamic speed change for example if speed is 2500 KB/s it automatically changes to 2.5 MB/s

3. Make an option for "Active s" window "Always on top - yes/no"

1. A UI cleanup (see http://www.freemanager.telechargerjeux.org/boar ... hp?t=10699 ).
This could improve the usability on the s (example: enter the checksum easier)

2. Pluggable for mirror sites. Maybe with an own ' server' that s (automatically) can select when ing a file. Could be handy for (small) offices where the is first searched for in a local server.

1. It is very disappointing that automatic category selection is based only on extension. I would much prefer regexp'ing of URL.
2. Sometimes I add a URL that has already been ed. But I pay for traffic, so re-ing of same file is bad. It will be great if such things will be checked and some tip appear (under URL entry textbox for example).
3. I am really missing (incremental) search boxes for s and history. Especially history.
