I believe that creating a command line flag for allowing the HTML Spider to crawl websites would be a very simple feature to implement and would make FDM more "command-line proof".

Example:

fdm.exe -site=http://base_url_here

Will crawl http://base_url_here automatically as if the GUI interface was used.

I would like to suggest that FDM have the capability to automatically start as paused all *.par or *.par2 files, except for the smallest one. For example, "parset.par2" would start ing normally, but "parset.vol000+01.par2", "parset.vol001+02.par2", etc. would be paused. Then, if the small par2 file shows that the is corrupted, you could manually unpause the other par2 files as needed. AltBinz can do this for nntp s.

ing video and music is a problem it work just fine whit sites like youtube but sites like livevideo you do not see a link for music and videos that play on some of the page what is needed is a better add-on for the firefox that can fine the links.
For example Internet manager the add-on for it works better it fine music and video links on all the sites please make the free manager add-on work like IDM are work whit firefox helper.

It would be nice to have more functionality in web-interface of FDM.

I would love to see torrents seeding status in FDMWI.

Also, it would be nice to view torrents that I seed in separate category.

I'd love to see the FDM remote control server have more options and functionality. Suggestions:
- Multi-line input box for list of s
- Pause, stop, delete, resume
- Show queued s in addition to the active ones

I use FDM almost entirely through the remote control and more stuff would be great

Some things which would be nice:

• When 'Generate a filename automatically' is selected in the new dialog, display the generated name (when available) in the disabled name entry textbox. It should at least get populated when you query the file size.
• A way to disable the media preview tab would be nice (particularly the automatic switching to the tab). I never use it, and it's sometimes annoying when it switches. (I use KMPlayer, and am really used to the keyboard shortcuts.)

The sort-by-size option only sorts the queued files in descending order. However, IMO what we need is at least an option for ascending. Because, we can the smaller sized files first and start reviewing them after they are ed while the bigger guns are still under progress.
Just my two cents worth.

An option to force the resume capabilities of a server/file would be extremely helpful, because I regularly get that FDM does not recognize that it can resume from my rapidshare ...

I would like to be able to delete files both from the FDM list and in the folders. This means deleting a file in the FDM list will also dlete that file in the folder.

Limit speed (or just automatically change to light/medium/heavy modes) at predefined times.

eg, 7pm switch to heavy mode and at 7am switch to light mode.

When we use WEB-interface (FDM remote control server) we can add s, and look for the active and completed s remotely. But we can't see s that currently scheduled but not active.

We have cheap traffic at the night. So, we configured Free Manager to files nightly. At day we only order s from different computers in our network. But we can't see ordered s remotely. Also we can't cancel ordered remotely.
