Is FDM open source 3r6v58

I don`t understand why you can the program on sourceforge and still say it is protected by copyright laws anything you can on sourceforge has GPL license that state that you can make your own special version of the software and source code shall be free for .

Can someone explain this to me how it is that your software is on sourceforge?

Sourceforge host open source projects whether the project is under GPL or not. There are plenty of projects on sourceforge that are under the GPL license.

It is released under GPL3. [Or it is what they say]. They have given us the access the source code on their page. Try it . I have not.

I think that what you pointed out is a mistake that has to be rectified. I have noticed it under the about window of FDM.
