RAPIDSHARE.COM ? 3l4v6

Postby periklis » Sun Oct 22, 2006 3:20 pm

Hello,

thanx for this great manager.

Has someone managed to succesfully get fdm working with the new RAPIDSHARE.COM service ?

Example:

http://rapidshare.com/files/251567/Rapider.exe

copy the url in the clipboard (do not click on it), put the name and in, and try to it. You will get the default page from rapidshare.com.

NOTE: works with Flashget.

To use FDM with rapidshare.com or rapidshare.de, follow these steps:

1. to rapidshare using IE. Don’t use Opera, because FDM won’t use the Opera cookie set by rapidshare. I haven’t tested with Firefox.
2. After you , go to Options and set your for direct s.
3. Now rapidshare files are treated like any other files, as long as you keep the cookie inside of IE.

Other managers have direct, internal web form for rapidshare, you with the same way you manually.

This method doesn't work with Firefox 2. I to have IE running (as you described) in order for the s to work properly. So apparently FDM won't read the Firefox 2 cookies either.

Did you read the Rapidshare FAQ?

You do not HAVE to accept cookies, but you will have to enter your -data for every file you want to , if you do not accept cookies.

But if you use the direct- link, or an URL with and like http://:@rapidshare.com/fi ... 4/file.zip (with activated direct- of course), the will actually work!

Perhaps FDM does not send the for every segment, or can't handle the method. The URL should theoretically work.

If you queue up a bunch of s from rapidshare.com, and you have a , with firefox and flashget installed, the first will work, but the rest will fail.

The only manager I have found that works is orbit manager, everything else fails, not sure how they do it.

I've been using RS for free, ing, but I really don't understand why anyone would pay for such a site that won't even resume, they are butt-heads.
Even though I have to copy-paste and assemble the URL, FDM works on every (that I don't mess up), and even s several at once. But no segments or resume, and once a completes I have to change IPs or wait an hour.
What BS, why don't they just throttle the speed?
Nice that there are practically no ads. But file servers with ads at least let you copy the URL and resume broken s, so all the extra clicking is worth it, you don't have to go back.

BTW: Resume saves bucket loads of bandwidth, bandwidth costs them. So, they are butt-heads!

This is a very good program but it isnt rapidshare.com very well :( it is very bad.

Normally when we add rapid name and to site manager and we add url like this to "http://rapidshare.com/files/10466663/xxx.rar" it must to real file but FDM dont real file it html file. Coders of this program please fix this . (In this way we dont any cookie, we dont need to enter rapidshare.com and ourselves.)

IDA, Flashget vb. this way. and rapidshare says this way is working but why FDM dont this?

Dear FDM Author. To properly files from Rapidshare, especially for free s, please add wild card to the Site Manager. Then, people can just add something like "*.rapidshare.com" instead of an entry for every damned server. Then I will able to look at this forum and not see a thousand posts about people complaining about Rapidshare. This is so easy to implement. Please consider it.
I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class, especially since I rule.
