Time to add new in FDM with huge history? u6y50
Adding a new takes a lot of time (Firefox Add-on or directly) in the old version after lots of as.
I'm using the old FDM version 3.9.7. (because of its clear structure, comprehensive functionality, transparency, possible settings etc.)
The thing I don't like with it is, that it takes a long time to add a new .
From my experience this has to do with a big history (thousands of s). Adding a new from the Firefox context menu (FDM add on) or directly using the "+" or Ctrl+N in Free Manager 3.9.7 will take about half a minute until the link has been recieved in FDM and the new -window opens.
So I am wondering now, whether this is the same with the new FDM.
Does anybody know, how long it takes to add a new link in the current FDM version after e.g. 10.000 s (that are still in the history)?
(of course I could delete old links, but then FDM wouldn't recognize that a has already been added/made)

These are file s.
From my experience it doesn't matter what kind of file (mp4/jpg/other) the is or from which sites.
I like keeping the history so that FDM can identify double s.

In the case of a large history (e.g. 10.000 s) in the new FDM:
Does anybody know, whether the new Free Manager takes a long time to add new s, too?

Hello,
FDM should work fine with thousands of s.
In case it's not true for you - please submit a bug report to us.
I would recommend you to update to FDM6. FDM3 is no longer ed.
The only downside is that FDM6 can't import FDM3 s. But you can keep FDM3 for your old s and use FDM6 for the new ones.
P.S. Please be noted that FDM6 requires Windows 10 or later.
