s ending up in weird dates in folder 4ff4k
Hey all. I enjoy using FDM but there's just one jarring issue that I've been experiencing ever since I started using it. s all go to the default "s" folder on windows, and the folder is sorted by Date. The issue is that s made through FDM, seemingly at random, end up in different dates. The correct category would be the "Today" one, but it can end up on any one from "Yesterday" to a "A long time ago" category. There seems to be no setting that could be causing that, and I'm not sure if it's a windows issue or an FDM issue, but it doesn't happen when not ing through FDM. Any help is appreciated as I keep getting lost over where my files are.

that is normal if you have selected to files using server date in FDM setings, so for example if a file is released in 1998 and you it today in 2022 it will be at the end of all the files in your s folder in Windows 10, unless you disabled feature to order by date in Windows 10 inside s folder, or if you disable server date feature in FDM.

Wow that was it! Thank you so much, I guess I didn't realize that option could have to do with it...

I don't think this works in v5 and up but I know v3 has this option setting. I use this alot to save based on ed server date to keep track of old and new version.

I am using v6.17.0.4792 and don't see this mentioned "Date" option anywhere...
Where is this option?
UPDATE: found it!! It is now called "Use server time for file creation"
