FDM 3.9.7 and 2GB files large <to many errors> 5268y
FDM 3.9.7 got serious problems ing 2GB files and bigger ones, 1GB files are pretty OK though, does the software need any adjustment on its settings in order to get it to those 2GB and 3 GB files? I've ed the last version of FDM, didn't work. Thanks, another suggestion please

There's ABSOLUTELY no problem ing big files with FDM 3.9.7. I just ed TWO 4GB+ files with it, no problem. The only thing is that there's a lot of disk activity at the begining, then everything goes ok.
Maybe the guy is using a FAT32 formatted drive or some other limitation of that kind? (even that would still work for 2 GB files)

I would check for:
Failing HD
Not enough free space
Insufficient RAM
Failing RAM
Drive format (FAT16, for example)
Poor Internet connection.
