Norton Internet Security quarantined file flvsniff.dll belonging to FDM 3.9.4 (1485)
It was identified as something called Suspicious.Cloud.7.EP
What's going on?
Will uninstall FDM untill this is sorted out and satisfactory answer is given.

Well, thanks for the answer.
Not the ideal situation - to take developer's word, that one of his files is not a virus,
but thanks anyway. Will be using another manager for now.
To super: I have uninstalled the program, so can not use your suggestion.
This should be fixed. Will try future version to see if it has.
Re: FDM - virus? 1l4y3w
If you pretend to be an advanced , you should report false positives to your AV .
File flvsniff.dll is as suspicious as any tool (f.e knife) is. Kaspersky in such cases provides better descriptions, like this one:
"File contains legal software that can be used by criminals to damage your computer or personal data".
On the other side I have already suggested that all exe and dll files in FDM should be digitally signed with a certificate. It will be a must for 64-bit plugins.

What the hell is that supposed to mean???
I don't pretend anything.
I could report it, but I don't care enough to bother.
Especially since I don't use it anymore.

And I don't have that file on my computer any longer.
Millions of people use the same AV software as me. They may run into the same issue.
I had used FDM for several years and until now it never gave me a reason to complain.
