folder is NOT saved in registry, it's kept in FDM *.sav service files together with settings for other groups. Just open main FDM window, right click "All s" on the group list in the left FDM pane and select "Set groups' root folder" from the context menu.
You can also use FDM menu Options | Settings | s | New and click "Set default folder button".
Note that folder settings for any group will be replaced with a new default folder.

1. Default folder C:\s is hardcoded in FDM.EXE (3.x and older).
2. FDM service files are kept in "%APPDATA%\Free Manager" folder. They are binary files and should NOT be manually edited. However, you can find all needed info about *.sav structure in FDM source code. In your case folders are saved to groups.sav file and default folder is assigned by default to "Other" group.
3. If you want to automatically install FDM on many computers, there are a few ways to do it:
* You can create all needed profiles on your PC, to every profile and configure FDM, then just copy *.sav files properly.
* If you don't need to keep separate folders for multiple s on a single PC, you can create C:\s folder on every PC and make junction from %PROFILE%\s to C:\s. See MSDN: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/aa365006(v=vs.85).aspx

1. You must change folder options to show hidden and system files.
2. %APPDATA% is an environment variable that normally is different from AppData folder. Usually it is C:\s\your--name\AppData\Roaming in Windows 7.
3. "%APPDATA%\Free Manager" folder is created by FDM, not by FDM installer. You must run FDM at least once to create the folder and save FDM service files (*.sav) there.

Folder option are properly setup for show hidden and system files in my Windows session.
I confirm that i don't have any "Free Manager" folder in it (C:\s\EL\AppData\Roaming)
I use Free Manager (Light) v3.9.4 build 1472 under Windows 7 64bit.

I search *.sav Under C:\ and i found groups.sav file under C:\Windows !!!

I setup FDM to use C:\s\EL\s but it still continue to put all ed files to C:\Dowload !!!!!!!! What's wrong ?
When i check the default location, it show me the new path but anyway it still refuse to put all files in C:\s\EL\s !

It seems you have done first FDM run and you are still running FDM as . Or maybe you are even trying to run FDM as a system service.
