I am trying to downlaod a file from a protected site, but get back the content of the page.

This site uses Webmin and as far as I know, the authentication is stored in a cookie.

I am using IE 6 and FDM is set to use cookie.

Any ideas?

There is another problem, which occurs when the link points to a cgi script that is supposed to generate the file and redirect.

In this case, if I right click on the and choose " by Free Manager", i get the ed file stored as the name of the cgi script, not the generated and redirected to file.

With web based e-mail programs it doesn't work either.

I think that those sites protect themselves against acces of other programs.

This seems to be always happening with any s from Webmin.

Is this a known problem?

The problem with the e-mail servers is known and I think the one with the protected sites, too.

Take a look at here.

I don't know if it is possible that this problem can be fixed.
