Re: firefox 15 plugin w1i1j
I am very puzzled by the current bizarre situation regarding FDM and Firefox 15. Firefox is not some obscure little browser - it is one of the "Big Five" - used by hundreds of millions the world over.
FDM is a great piece of software - you are recommended as "the best" by many software comparison sites BUT somehow a simple thing like keeping the Firefox Plugin up-to-date seems to have become an insurmountable problem? To mix my metaphors this really is creating a "mountain out of a molehill" and "a rod for your own backs" - both at the safe time. Few of your s (your fan-base) are going to be capable of, or interested in, "getting under the hood" to fiddle about with difficult sounding files.......
So why not:
i) Release a quick update - FDM 3.9.1 - in which the only change is the two digits in the the maxVersion line of the install.rdf file. (You state that FDM is fully compatible up to Firefox 16.)
ii) Release an updated version of FDM Plugin only - same minor change as i) above.
iii) Put a statement/apology on FDM Homepage explaining situation with link offering EITHER of the options above, OR an "official" FDM guide/Howto giving a step-by-step tutorial, aimed at the non-expert FDM , explaining the DIY method for changing the maxVersion number.
None of the above is "Rocket Science" - your s would all love you - your forum would calm down and your s could all have a nice holiday. So where's the BIG problem?

Re: firefox 15 plugin w1i1j
Firefox 15 has some issues with YouTube when the FDM plugin is active. It won't show image previews on the video page and almost none of the site's script work (subscribtion, autocomplete, reply expansion, comment liking etc.), disabling it makes the page work again (tested for my other plugins as well, they're irrelevant to the bug). The icon of the site remains in the loading animation forever too. I'm well aware of the fact that FF15 isn't officially ed yet but this sould be fixed asap. Also checked IE9 and it works without problems. Using FDM for years.

1. FDM now oficially s Firefox 15.
2. This issue has already been reported here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16019&start=165#p35499
then confirmed here:
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=16019&start=165#p35506
and finally fixed in FDM 3.9.1 build 1263 (more than month ago).
Do update your FDM, please. If you claim your FDM is already updated, just delete FDM plugin for Firefox from %ProgramFiles%\Free Manager\Firefox subdirectory and reinstall FDM as . Read other topics about Firefox troubleshooting before posting again, please.
