Version 3.0.870 works well with *.exe files but fails to *.zip files, even if the program is already running. In such cases, the workaround is to use the "drop box".

but, It became the same I, too. FDM dialog cancel after IE errer.
TEST. I try change FDM option watch setting. Result,Even it was not an error and it became it. no popup IE file dialog.

I'm afraid you guys are wrong, works just fine for me,
tried exe, zip, dmg, bz2, mar extensions.
all work.
IE8.

For firefox, I use Flshgot, works like a charm.
