FDM and GOFILE links 2uq

elryc » Wed Apr 16, 2025 4:54 am

FDM is working fine with Firefox integration, and of course captures any other links from most hosts except GOFILE.

Why is that? Everytime trying to GOFILE links, the browser will do ing, but not FDM. Even when the started in the browser, I tried to copy the link and paste it onto FDM, it also won't work.

There's no one here using FDM for direct s? Or none are having problems with grabbing the links from certain hosts?

Hello,
First of all, please try any Chrome-based browser instead. E.g. Google Chrome / Microsoft Edge / etc.
There is a known flaw of Mozilla Firefox web browser which does not allow FDM to capture some of its s.

Noted, I will try and change browsers. But by copying links and pasting into FDM's Add New is definitely not working for hosts like Gofile and I'm sure a few others hosts too.

Why is that? What is preventing FDM from capturing links like this? Instead it just captures .html file.
