Why it's not possible to change "Default folder" ? w223z

TheDArk » Sun Aug 25, 2013 8:57 am

Hi to all,

I use FDM Light v3.9.2 build 1303 under Win7 x64.
I tried to change the default folder location from FDM unsucessfully.

I go to Options > Settings > New and i click to "Set default folder"
I browse to the target folder (C:\s\<my profile>\s) and click OK.
A Window appear and ask me "Default folders of all groupes will ve set to this folders", i click "Yes" for accept this change.

I close Internet Explorer and FDM, i try to a video and it put it to C:\Dowloads folder !!!!

What can i do for fix the dowload folder as i wish please ?

Regards.

1. FDM by default uses groups. Default folder is changed only for the "Other" group, so you must change folder for every group separately.
2. Flash video plugin does NOT use all settings defined for regular s or groups. In this case you should set folder directly in "Add flash video " dialog window.

Open main FDM window and look at the left pane. Under "All s" title you should see all groups listed. Find your group, right click its name and choose proper action from the context menu.
