I am trying to integrate FDM with Opera 11.52 (current latest stable version). The FAQ stated that using oGet is the best way to integrate FDM into Opera.

I already have FDM installed. I then tried running oGet. When I run oGet 2.5's oGet_setup.exe, it asks me to specify Opera 11.52's directory. After I specify the directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera), nothing happens. No error messages, alerts, etc. Nothing.

I am running oGet in Windows 7, 64-bit. I tried running oGet_setup.exe as an too, to no avail. I have to enable FDM's Opera monitoring/plugin feature to make FDM work with Opera. This does not work in all cases, though, like in Mediafire.com s, where Opera's manager still handles the s, despite the installation of the FDM plugin.

Does anyone know any other solutions to make FDM integrate properly with Opera?

For most cases oGet works only from the context menu (right mouse click), normal mouse click is catched by Opera. You don't need to turn on Opera monitoring in FDM if you have oGet installed.
Don't forget to reinstall oGet with every Opera update.

Make sure you followed the oGet installation instructions to the letter. If you made a mistake, delete the oGet directory in you Opera installation folder, restore your old standard_menu.ini from standard_menu.ini_1.bak and start again.

I tried to. There is no oGet directory in my Opera installation folder because I was unable to install oGet. Here are the installation instructions:
1.) Copy and select the menu in Ctrl+F12?Advanced?Toolbars.
2.) Close Opera, start oGet_setup.exe, specify the folder of Opera.
3.) Make choice of Manager in Tools?Select Manager.
...

I was unable to continue from Step 2. When I run oGet_setup.exe, it asks me to specify Opera 11.52's directory. After I specify the directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Opera), nothing happens. No error messages, alerts, etc. At this point, I am unable to continue. I tried running oGet_setup.exe as an too, to no avail. Anyone know any workarounds?
