The only way I've gotten FDM to work with my RS subscription, not free version, is to to RS using IE and I make sure I save that cookie since I use CCleaner pretty often.

I do all my browsing with Firefox and use Flashgot. Important though is that the RS link must not end in .html. You can usually get rid of this manually once in FDM.

doesn't matter if i set the ie cookie or not.
the first 20 files work, all others won't.
i'm using firefox 2.0.0.3 / flashgot / fdm beta.
don't want to uninstall flashgot, disabling doesn't work to get the firefox plugin to work (maybe add a check if the flashgot plugin is enabled?)
and... can't get fdm to work with ie7 / vista x64. the context menu shows fdm, but it doesn't do anything if i click on " using fdm"

well.. fdm needs to be closed to do anything.
but if i use a linklist text file, fdm tries to that file:/// thingie, not the selected links.
so i can't use fdm with a linklist file.

when ing a list of 10+ files from firefox, some files work and some wont.

with detailed log on, all working s show a GET /blabla and a Cookie: =<name>-< in ascii values %xx)
all NOT WORKING s only show that GET /blabla without that Cookie line..

Putting in name / for rs.com doesnt seem to work...

Maybe that helps our FDM Authors...

i think this actually the real problem here! sometimes the formation is simply not used!?

I was having difficulties with the history not being saved (i.e., every time I shut down FDM, all history and scheduled s were cleared). The suggested fix was to 3.0.

Well I upgraded to 3.0 and the crappy thing will now not rapid share. I have enabled cookies, actually hand ed a file from rapidshare, and still, FDM stays in the yellow for my rapid share s. Even worse, upon shut down, FDM deleted all my scheduled s and cleared all my preferences settings.

What have you developers done. This was a great program and it is now rendered useless. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

How do I setup FDM to a list of copied rapidshare links? When I select a list of rapidshare links and cipy them to the clipboard only the first file is .

If you're using a , try setting the name and for rapidshare.com. Once thats done goto File -> Import -> List of URLs from clipboard (or just press CTRL+SHIFT+V).

Has someone managed to succesfully get fdm working with the new RAPIDSHARE.COM service ?

To use FDM with rapidshare.com or rapidshare.de, follow these steps:

1. to rapidshare using IE. Don’t use Opera, because FDM won’t use the Opera cookie set by rapidshare. I haven’t tested with Firefox.
2. After you , go to Options and set your for direct s.
3. Now rapidshare files are treated like any other files, as long as you keep the cookie inside of IE.

Other managers have direct, internal web form for rapidshare, you with the same way you manually.
