Postby juliusbretus » Wed Feb 27, 2008 2:36 pm

FDM can't any file when Kaspersky Internet Security (7.0) is working. When I stop the protection I can any file I want, but I can't stop it each time I've to a file !

Note : Kaspersky's firewall allows FDM to communicate and Microsoft's firewal is disabled.

Somebody can help me ?

Sorry for my bad english
I use KIS 7.0.325 + FDM
Work fine, solution: in KIS Setting->Threats and exclusions->Trusted zone->Trusted Applications Add FDM.EXE

Which properties have you enabled for FDM? (in Trusted Applications - Edit - Properties) - all of them?

I find that, like inventao, I have to have all Trusted Application properties checked for FDM to work consistently - I don't know if that seriously increases the risk of virus infection.

I spoke too soon again - it's stop/restart with every today, even with everything checked for FDM in the Kaspersky Trusted Zone. Getting a bit fed up - I don't really want to switch to another manager, but I might have to if this continues :( .

yeah it works,
but after you do what Inventao said,
you need to restart the FDM.
