Everytime I try to something it says invalid name and . Even after updating this piece of crap it still has the same problem. I've used firefox and IE built in and it works fine. Can someone help me, is there a setting that I have to change? I've tried everything that I can think of. This is the one and only program that has caused me trouble when ing from the POPULAR site gametrailers.

What it says is correct. The site may be using some kind of cookies to recognize you. When FDM tries to , the site won't allow it since it does not have the cookie. The will surely run smoothly from the inbuilt DM in Firefox and IE. Don't blame FDM for that.

In general if you have an with certain site(s) that requires information to get files, You can supply the information for that certain in the add dialogue box.

Also for certain sites like the one that you have mentioned you can try and bring down the concurrent connections per file for that to 1 or 2 if it was acceptable by the site.

However if it were just for few files and small in size, Just use the built-in Firefox basic manager.

FDM works well with Firefox, as many others have found.

Unfortunately that is all I can tell you, as I am not an expert on FDM, but I have been a very happy of FDM for a few years now!

Further, I really appreciate that the authors wrote such a good program, and generously offered to people like us. In my case, I depend on freeware for financial reasons, . So it is a real bonus when it is as good as FDM!!.

Judging by the 1st section of your input, you regard yourself expert enough to make damming judgements about FDM: albeit, wrong: and despite the above. Yet you seem to implicitly feel, you may not be the expert you think that you are, as you might have missed something!!

Courtesy costs nothing. It is often expected by people who might be able to help you.
